STREET ART GALLERY OF LOŽIONICA: Murals by Artez and Endo Unveiled on the Gazela Bridge Pillars

The pillars of the Gazela Bridge, one of Belgrade’s busiest landmarks, have recently become a canvas for exceptional artistic interventions. As part of an initiative to transform this space into a living street art gallery, the first visual marks have been left by talented artists connected with the creative center Ložionica.

The first mural was created by Andrej Žikić Artez. His work portrays a girl so deeply immersed in the lines of a book that she reaches for a flower vase instead of a glass of water. This symbolic motif reflects the blurring of boundaries between the real world and the world of ideas, thought, and knowledge.

The second mural is signed by Vuk Đurić Endo, whose abstract composition of dynamic colors depicts a child chasing stars – a metaphor for boundless creative potential and imagination, and a vision of the future expressed through art.

These murals are part of the “Living Gallery” project – the first artistic initiative of the Ložionica creative and innovation center, located just nearby. The goal of the project is to transform urban space into a dynamic street art gallery, connecting local and international artists with the community and fostering cultural exchange.

Thanks to the generous support of M-Enterijer Gradnja, the first mural was realized as an inspiring example of successful synergy between the private sector and the arts. At the same time, the support of the State Data Center in Kragujevac was essential for the creation of the second artwork.

These murals mark the first step toward transforming the Gazela Bridge into not only a key traffic connection but also a significant cultural and artistic symbol of Belgrade and Serbia – a testament to Ložionica’s strategic vision.
