Five emerging songwriters and five original songs were presented at the final event of Ložionica’s Western Balkans Songwriting Hub program, which brought together young music creators from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The final event of the Western Balkans Songwriting Hub program was held at Ložionica, marking the culmination of a regional initiative that over the past several months brought together young songwriters, lyricists, producers and performers with the goal of developing new musical talent and fostering collaboration among creatives from across the region.
The audience had the opportunity to hear five original songs premiered for the first time, performed by participants from Belgrade and Banja Luka and developed through mentorship and collaborative work throughout the program.
The performances represented the result of months of creative work, mentorship, workshops and collaboration, during which young artists developed their ideas and transformed them into original musical works with the support of renowned producers Mihajlo Vujić MIXA, Luka Jovanović Luxonee, A.N.D.R., Rap Gorilla, Maja Manojlović and Hristina Vuković.
Ložionica launched the Western Balkans Songwriting Hub as a platform for connecting young music creators from across the region, providing them with an opportunity to enhance their songwriting and production skills through knowledge exchange, collaboration and mentorship.
The program also encouraged regional cooperation and created opportunities for building new professional connections among emerging artists.
The Western Balkans Songwriting Hub was implemented as part of the Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans (CC4WBs) project, which supports the development of cultural and creative industries, strengthens regional cooperation and creates new opportunities for young artists and creatives across the Western Balkans.
