French Hip-Hop Workshop & Jam Session

On April 19, Lozionica became a meeting point of the Belgrade and French hip-hop scenes through the French Hip-Hop Workshop & Jam Session program, offering a full-day experience dedicated to improvisation, musicality, and contemporary dance expression.

Driven by the idea of connecting artists and exchanging knowledge through contemporary approaches to hip-hop culture, the program was led by Luka Atanaskovic, a dancer and choreographer of Serbian origin based in Paris, who began shaping his artistic expression on the local scene.

Throughout the day, participants and the audience had the opportunity to take part in workshops led by artists from the French scene, including Rubix and Deyvron, as well as an open talk and a jam session that concluded the program, creating a space for the meeting of different styles, experiences, and generations.

The workshops focused on freestyle, musicality, and improvisation, and were open to anyone interested in developing their skills or gaining a deeper understanding of contemporary dance practices.

The program started at 12 PM with participant registration, followed by workshops, while the evening segment featured an Open Talk and a jam session open to dancers, schools, the public, and the media.

French Hip-Hop Workshop & Jam Session was designed as a space for connection, exchange, and shared experience, bringing together different scenes and contemporary artistic practices through movement.
