One of the concert evenings of this year\u2019s Todo Mundo Festival, held in Belgrade from September 25 to 28, took place at Lo\u017eionica as part of its preopening phase. The evening was dedicated to contemporary musical expressions rooted in global traditions and featured performances by Jakob Steinkeller from Austria and the ensemble Tamala, composed of artists from Belgium, Senegal, and Mali. <\/p>\n\n

Todo Mundo Festival, which has for over a decade promoted the concept of world music\u2014a blend of diverse musical traditions, styles, and cultures\u2014once again offered a rich and diverse lineup in 2025. This year\u2019s program explores musical influences from regions such as Styria, the Mediterranean, West Africa, Central Europe, Turkey, and others. The festival\u2019s artistic director, Bojan \u0110or\u0111evi\u0107, curated the program, while the evening was hosted by Aleksandra Paladin, a renowned music journalist and promoter of cross-genre musical forms. <\/p>\n\n

The concert at Lo\u017eionica offered a unique opportunity to experience the fusion of a contemporary, urban creative space with the depth of musical heritage from around the world. Jakob Steinkeller presented his original sound inspired by Alpine folk music and electronic experimentation, while Tamala delivered a powerful musical dialogue between West African vocal and instrumental traditions and European jazz, creating a compelling intercultural narrative through music.Hosting a Todo Mundo Festival concert at Lo\u017eionica further demonstrates the potential of this future creative center to bring together diverse artistic expressions and international voices – even before its official opening. Lo\u017eionica continues to position itself as a new meeting point for music, culture, and creativity, connecting local audiences with global artistic currents. <\/p>\n\n
