What will you learn at the Creative Engine workshops?
This introductory module brings together professional actors, directors, animators and creatives, focusing on performance, using Motion Capture (MoCap) technology. The four-day workshop is designed so that participants understand how traditional acting techniques are transferred to the MoCap environment, where costumes, props and classic stage are missing. The focus is on understanding the logic of the MoCap system and mastering the key principles of acting within those technical constraints. Participants will work on acting, adapting to technical requirements and creative collaboration with the team. Participants will record a short scene (developed with the instructor) and these recordings will serve as a key resource for subsequent modules in the program.
