Our centre was presented at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the Immersive Market
Ložionica, represented by Ivana Zečević, Director of International Cooperation, was selected to take part in the immersive programme of this year’s Cannes Film Festival — an exceptional achievement for our centre.
“Our participation in Cannes is highly important for connecting Serbia’s creative scene with the world’s leading networks of contemporary artistic production, particularly as we are preparing to open the Water Tower, which will be the only venue in our country dedicated exclusively to the presentation of immersive art,” said Ana Ilić, Director of Ložionica.
“This year, more than 1,200 meetings were held between curators and immersive creators, and we are especially pleased that a creative centre from Serbia — Ložionica — has become part of this programme for the first time,” said Mathieu Gayet, Immersive Market Manager, following the conclusion of the festival.
“Ložionica’s presence at the world’s most influential film festival is an important recognition of our mission to position Serbia and Belgrade as a dynamic centre of creativity, innovation and contemporary artistic practices,” said Ivana Zečević, Director of International Cooperation at Ložionica, upon her return from Cannes.
