K-pop spectacle at Ložionica

1Verse delivered an unforgettable performance and danced Serbian kolo! Winners of The K-pop World festival Serbia & Montenegro announced

Belgrade has officially become part of the global K-pop scene!

The K-pop World Festival Serbia & Montenegro, held today at Ložionica, gathered more than 70 of the most talented performers from Serbia and Montenegro, supported by an enthusiastic audience and an atmosphere rarely seen on the local scene. The highlight of the evening was a performance by the K-pop group 1Verse, one of the most intriguing new acts on the global stage, and notably the first K-pop group to ever perform in Serbia. The festival was opened by the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Kim Hyoung Tae.

This five-member group—Hyuk, Seok, Nathan, Kenny, and Aito—artists from South and North Korea, Japan, and the United States—brings a unique story of cultural connection through music. As the first K-pop group to include members originally from North Korea, 1VERSE is pushing boundaries and symbolizing a new generation of artists.

Their performance at Ložionica thrilled the audience, and the band also showed strong support for the young performers participating in the competition. Seok shared an interesting personal story:
“Before I started making music, I played football, and one of my favorite players was your Nemanja Vidić—that’s how I first learned about Serbia.”

As a special gesture for Serbian fans, members of 1Verse even performed a traditional Serbian kolo dance.

Following their festival appearance, 1Verse will hold a solo concert on April 19 at Dorćol Platz, where they will present themselves to the Belgrade audience in a full concert format.

The K-pop World Festival Serbia & Montenegro program was divided into two categories—vocal and dance. In the vocal category, the award went to Sofija Lazarević, while in the dance category, the winners were Cactus Dance Crew (first place) and Jelena Medenica (second place). All winners will have the opportunity to represent Serbia and Montenegro in the global finals to be held in South Korea.

Following their festival appearance, 1VERSE will hold a solo concert on April 19 at Dorćol Platz, where they will present themselves to the Belgrade audience in a full concert format.

The K-pop World Festival at Ložionica once again demonstrated that Belgrade is becoming an important point on the global K-pop map—a place where different cultures, talents, and a new generation of artists come together.
