Humanitarian photo exhibition People of the World

Internationally recognized nightlife photographer and author of some of the most striking festival photographs that have circulated throughout the region and the world for years, Marko Obradović – EDGE, opened the humanitarian photography exhibition People of the World at Lozionica.

People of the World is an artistic-humanitarian project that captures identity, character, and emotion through authentic portraits of people from different parts of the world.

Launched in 2020, the project takes place every two years, symbolically on February 25 — Marko’s birthday — transforming this personal date into an act of solidarity and togetherness.

The project’s author, Marko Obradović – EDGE, a multimedia artist and photographer, builds this segment of his work on direct encounters with people. His photographs emerge from conversation, trust, and genuine human connection. Through travels across various countries and continents, EDGE captures faces, emotions, and identities that transcend geographical boundaries. His approach is characterized by sincerity, respect, and a strong desire for photography to serve as a tool for connection rather than merely an aesthetic object in space.

The exhibition presents 20 works, arranged so that the space functions as a visual journey through different cultures and personalities. Each portrait carries its own story, yet together they create a cohesive whole that speaks about universal emotions, belonging, dignity, strength, and individuality through diversity.

All proceeds from sales are dedicated to the treatment of Sergej Bošnjak (2011), a boy diagnosed with acute myeloblastic leukemia.

The exhibition runs until March 4 at Lozionica, and admission is free for all visitors.
